I love the lush color, texture and radiance of oil paint and soft pastel. I use these artist's tools with keen observation and deep feeling. I'm alert to the remarkable beauty and wonder in my surroundings. I'm mindful of the fragility of our earth and lives and the contradiction between a scene or figure's majesty, and its possible loss. Noticing and then capturing moments in time in my artwork is personally affirming. I hope to inspire viewers to connect with my paintings.
